The support services provided by our care workers, particularly in aged care, are incredibly valuable for our clients – ensuring they are individually supported with high quality care services that help them to live independently in their own homes. You will be an experienced and compassionate care worker dedicated to providing support to elderly people, by assisting with daily activities and personal tasks. In your role as Home Care Support Worker with Care For Family, you will help our clients to maintain their dignity and independence, by working from the client’s home.

Job Description

In your role as a Home Care Support Worker, you will assist our clients with meal preparations, eating, showering, dressing, tidying, and cleaning. Your duties may also include assisting with bathing and showering, oral hygiene, shaving, toileting, dressing, and assisting with continence aids.

Essential Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support

Experience

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for a working in care. Ability to relate to clients and co-workers on a daily basis. Being able to listen and understand allows you to be an efficient carer. A carer needs to work with a certain degree of flexibility.

Salary / Pay

  • We generally offer higher rates of pay than all other care providers in and around Sydney
  • AUD per hour Minimum is $25 -$35
  • Pro-rated amount
